This season was based in Greenland
In April I moved to the 6th largest city of Greenland “Maniitsoq” to work until early September. This is where I saw the last aurora of the previous season and the first ones of the current one.
From Maniitsoq I transferred further north to the small settlement of 100 people “Qeqertaq” located at 70 degrees northern latitude. According to light pollution maps found on internet the place has perfect bortle 1 skies. The darkest there is. Qeqertaq was my home for a hundred days and from there I took two helicopters and one plane further north to the island of Uummannaq where I spent the rest of the season.
