Upernavik Archipelago and the Thule-region
The ongoing season started in the island of Upernavik located at nearly 73 degrees north and will continue in the high latitudes. These regions are on many occasions too north for the northern lights and come with a real risk of polar bears, but are home to some of the most traditional and less-visited settlements in Greenland.
